Time to say goodbye

Journal Entry: Thu Feb 16, 2012, 6:37 AM
*sniffs* I just shipped my beloved tablet to Germany. Now it's waiting and hoping time. /sigh

Thus I'd like to give you a little insight into my current plans for my art.
Since right now I can only use my mouse I will open pixel commissions again once I finished the last open one. After working those off I will keep simple Icon commission open but close down the 150x150 bottles for the following reason:
Once I regain my tablet and cleaned up my to-do-list I really want to concentrate on digital painting/drawing again. Pixel art has and will probably always be just my secondary focus and lately I've been doing it so much that I started missing "normal" painting so incredibly much.
I really want to draw more Zelda and TES fan art again. Ideas concerning these two fandoms have been accumulating in my head recently to the point that I feel I'll explode if I don't get them out any time soon.
But until I got my tablet back I will still be doing some more pixels and of course I will still do them here and there afterwards as well but I really need to put my focus back on painting/drawing. :meow:

On another note, I finally downloaded The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall yesterday. :D
Can't really call myself a true TES fan without trying the two games everything started with right?^^
And I have to say it's really a wonderfully retro game. The main thing that I noticed though is the extreme amount of gore. Enemies "exploding" in a fountain of blood, impaled heads at the walls, severed heads in a bloody pile on the ground...makes me feel more like playing Doom or Quake than a TES game xD
They definitely tuned that down a lot afterwards. ^^

So now I was wondering if any of you tried out either Arena or Daggerfall and what you think of it. :)

I'm so glad it's getting fixed now ^^
You should write down all your idea's so when it comes back you haven't forgotten anything. I tend to do that a lot :XD:

I use photoshop elements for the pixeling itself and gimp for the animations. :)

no way Photoshop? I always thought you could only did pictures in there. I know I've had elements 8 when I got my tablet but pixel art never crossed my mind. Gimp really is handy for animation uh :) Thank you for the reply, hope it wasn't to much trouble.
