First off, could you give us a brief introduction of yourself?
Hello everyone

I am a Deaf person and love photography, I also enjoy collecting many different mediums of artistic creations. Currently, I help to administrate 10 groups on deviantART and truly love helping the deviantART Community to stay positive and productive.

How did you discover deviantART?

I already wanted to host the project a couple of months ago but I never have been motivated enough to write a proper description for it. I am still not really motivated at all but I guess I have to force myself to get motivated again so I am releasing the Project now.
This Project is different to the Projects that I have hosted so far, this time many deviants will work on one Emoticon.
You might ask yourself now "how the hell can that be achieved?", well let me explain what I had in mind.
The Plan
Every deviant who decides to participate in this projects will get 20 frames. In these Frames the deviant can do whatever he/she wants but they have to continue the work of the previous deviant.
My goal is that we have 600 frames at the end of the project, while I created the first 20 and the last 20 Frames (to loop the animation). This means that max 2

Thank you for your support of the 2012 Emote Awards.

At long last, the day had come. After 3 weeks of nominations and another 3 weeks of voting, the polls are closed, the ballots have been counted, and `Krissi001 and `Mirz123 are here to announce the winners of the 2012 Emote Award.!
Before we get to the winners, though, we'd like to comment on a question that was raised during the voting process. There was some concern that a few of the "newcomers" actually posted their first emoticon before January 1, 2012. In previous years, the Emote Awards were done on an erratic schedule, from a date in December to another date in December. Our goal this year was to get the awards on a full January 1 - December 31 calendar. As a result, there were a few newcomers that fell into the gray area between the last awards and the new January date. In the spirit of fairness, we allowed those couple of emoticonists to compete, since we did not feel it right to d

Hello ^ClefairyKid, could you tell us a little bit about yourself?
You can call me Clefairy or CK, I’ve been here with this account for about 3 or 4 years now. I started using Photoshop in high school to try and retouch photos, and that lead into Photo-manipulation. After I got more comfortable with PS, I started branching out into a huge range of things including Digital Art, Fan Art, Pixel Art (which I’ve now become CV for), Emoticons, Artisan Crafts, Flash, Photography and so on…
I like rainbows, but I’m sure most people already know that ;D
How did you first get into Stamps?
I suppose I just wanted to get a support stamp to help promote my account in general, but was too shy/embaressed to get one made by someone else, so I just gave it a shot. I still have my first one here:

Non-Digital Challenge (23-2-13)Theme
In this event, we decided to take a break from the norm and challenge participants to make an emoticon without using any digital medium. This can be accomplished by crafting an emote out of objects, using an emote stress ball, or simply drawing an emote on paper.
The theme for this event was 'love.'
Once completed, they had to scan or take a photo of the finished work and upload it to deviantART (your gallery, scraps, or sta.sh). Participants were able to make only very minor tweaks to the finished work (cropping, adjusting color slightly), but they could not make any major changes to the finished image (no photo manipulations, no adding items/digitally made emoticons).

The only thing that might be interesting for some of you:
The recent changes for thumbsnails do affect the gallery CSS. Atm it seems like the color of the text links below deviations can't be changed (at least i haven't figured out how). Also the border images you get when a deviation is too wide or tall won't match your background as it has the default green/grey in it. Not sure if can be adjusted, haven't played around with it yet.
It's not the fault of dA, sorry for spreading wrong information.
This issue is caused by the deviantTHUMBS:HUGE v7 user style by `rotane http://rotane.deviantart.com/#/d5cghor . If you have it installed it will affect the link color in galleries. That's why your gallery skin might look different to what they should look like.

Lord of the Rings quote!!! I'm finally reading the book, but it's taking awhile. We're going to Grand Teton National Park for vacation and I'm so excited! The mountains are always magnificent.
