Dialectical Dessertism: The ContestIt has long been debated just how cake and pie came to be bitter enemies (and occassional allies against other desserts). Some say it started in the Middle Ages when butter was first used for both unequally awesome desserts.
While others say it was when cake became a CV and the power went to her head!
At still yet, there is the rumor that is started when pie failed his sobriety test and blamed it all on cake for keeping him out too late.
But maybe none of those are the real story. That's where YOU come in.
What's this Contest About?
It's pretty simple. You're going to answer a very simple question. What is the origin of the pie/cake debacle? How you go about doing that is completely up to you. But since you have complete creative freedom to write history, we're expecting some very interesting (to say the least) renditions.

The ''ABCs'' Short Story ContestThis isn't a contest so much as a way of showing off your artistic and literary ability. I'm holding a 'contest' in which you will write a short story based on a word, that word beginning with a certain letter of the alphabet. For example, if I want to write a love story based on the letter "P" then I will name my story "P is for Perfect". It doesn't have to be P, nor does it have to be a love story. Heck, it doesn't have to be prose.
The Rules -
1. This works on a "First come; first serve" rule; if someone picks the letter "K", then you can't pick that letter. You must choose another letter.
2. Once you pick your letter, then you must think of a word that is connected to your story, but begins with the letter you picked. E.g. A wildlife story about a Zebra might be called "S is for Stripes".
3. Also, once you have chosen your letter, you will have two weeks to write your story. If you do not complete this in time then the letter will be given to someone else.
