Holy fudge, I love the author, his style is way beyond what I expected! And he totally nailed Death's character in the few pages he appeared in already, sarcasm and everything. Plus, I approve of the way he describes his appearance. While it doesn't look bad I don't like it quite that much when people depict him with this slick shiny hair and yeah I know even Joe Mad draws him like that. But personally I feel the whole 'tangled greasy hair' look applies much better and as my fiancé put it so nicely I doubt 'he shampoos his hair every day'. The closest any visual depiction comes to my personal vision is
this trailer.Anyway, reading the beginning of the book only made me wanna have it more.
I also managed to get my ears raped earlier today when I checked out the German voices of DSII.
Nah, kidding, it's not that bad, the voice acting itself is pretty solid but whoever does Death is not even remotely a match for Michael Wincott, who has earned himself the honour of being the second sexiest voice alive imho.
