"Here Vivec defeated Ruddy man, the god of the Dreugh. Vivec showed his people how to make armour from the wax of the Dreugh."~Shrine Inscription
I love the Temple Quests. ;w; They're probably one of my most favourite guilds/associations ever in Morrowind. Not necessarily because of their doctrines etc but simply because the quests are incredibly much fun.
And drawing this...beyond words. I didn't enjoy drawing something the way I enjoyed drawing this since like...forever. QwQ
Morrowind belongs to Bethesda Art belongs to ValaSedai
I slowly am, I like how in Morrowind there was much more emphasis on faction relations and loyalty. You can't do all on one playthrough and I like THAT a lot.
Yea art thieves are stupid, I know someone who's art was stolen and used by someone to get into high level art classes, as well as win a contest. Isn't that just fail? If you'd like, I'll take the wallpaper . I want to set it as my xbox 360 background, if I can figure out how to do that...
Have you tried the Shivering Isles? Oblivion's pretty painful, but Shivering Isles is as close to Morrowind as any of its successors have come, IMO. Still not as good as MW, of course, but a lot closer than original Oblivion or Skyrim.
Well I have the GotY edition of Oblivion so I have both add-ons installed and last time I played I wanted to start Shivering Isles but for some weird reason when I went to the gate that was supposed to bring me there it said I wasn't supposed to go through it yet. And then I was able to play Skyrim for two weeks so I completely forgot to continue.
Yeah, I got that when I first went there--apparently you wait about thirty seconds and it lets you in. :/ And since Oblivion SCALES THE WHOLE FREAKIN' WORLD TO YOU, it doesn't matter that my character is barely level 2. After playing Morrowind, killing a golden saint at level 2 is...unnerving. :/
Well I've been hanging around there for more than 30 secs at least and nothing happened. o.o Guess I'll just have to try more. ^^
OMG! I KNOW! The level-scaling is probably one of the most retarded parts about Oblivion! I still cannot believe that they did that. I mean wth, it's one of the things that makes the world in MW interesting, that you can NOT go everywhere already right from the start.
Yeah, I found it a bit confusing. I got there, it wouldn't let me in, then some Dunmer came out of the gate, the guard killed it. I talked to the guard, he said he wouldn't stop me from going in but that I was crazy (probably true ). I approach the gate, it says I can't go in yet. Then Sheogorath gives a little speech and your teleported to a little room in the Shivering Isles where you're greeted by Sheogorath's chamberlain Haskill, who is probably as awesome as the Mad God himself.
That's what I think too. It gives those places a mystique--Daedric ruins, the Ashlands, even Dwemer ruins at lower levels. In Oblivion and even Skyrim, you can go wherever you want whenever you want, whether it's killing golden saints at level 2 or dragons at level 1; there's no real reward for reaching a higher level except things die even faster.
Thank you. :') I think you can notice when I enjoy drawing something; the results are just always so much better then.^^ But YOU shouldn't be envious. xD I should be envious of your people drawing skills.
