Edit: Following critique I got I made some small adjustments. Made her feet more visible in the water, increased the size of the trees in middle ground a little and added more detail to the trees in background as well as the rocks. Also adjusted reflection in the water a bit and added some extra highlights to the trees.
Maybe somebody should tell poor little naive Gwyn that just because the scenery is all pretty and peaceful doesn't mean there's no bears and wolves roaming around. Or rapist Wood Elves.
Initially I wanted to go for a very bright and sunny day but it started to turn out more like early morning light with still rather indistinct shadows, which in the end I was okay with. I need to learn how to properly draw sunny lighting as well though.
Who can find and name all nine alchemical ingredients in this piece? (one of them is kinda mean)
Skyrim belongs to Bethesda Gwyn and Art belong to ^ValaSedai

This is a beautiful piece. He expression on her face is so carefree, but you're right--Skyrim is too dangerous a place for her to sit there unarmed and unarmored. Alas, I could only identify about half of the alchemical ingredients. I'm so ashamed.
I like this one 'cos it's so pretty. And Gwyn's pretty attractive as well. Nice little flowers, grass and pretty trees. I saw this a while ago, but never commented on it. Good for you on getting a DD as well.
Thank you so much. I'm glad I managed to portray her beauty a little since I always struggle at making women look pretty or anything of the like. It's why I like drawing men more, they don't have to look 'beautiful' or anything, I rather prefer them...well manly.
Thank you, I'm glad you think so. ^^ It's the same in German as well even. (because when I was trying to think of a title the German word came to my mind and I even had to check if it exists in English too but I was lucky )
O__O WOW. Your attention to detail is absolutely astonishing.
I really love the serene feel of the picture. Your figure work is awesome. I really like the texture of the paint.
If I'm being totally honest, though, I feel like the area behind her is kinda flat-looking. I mean, the girl and the area around her look absolutely amazing and have a ton of dimension, but the river and a lot of the forest don't seem to have a whole lot of depth to me. The foreground looks 3-D and the background kinda looks 2-D. It sort of reminds me of medieval paintings. But on the other hand, I'm probably crazy and have no idea what I'm talking about.
Seriously, I don't mean to be overly critical...this is absolutely beautiful. The atmosphere is stunning and the amount of detail you crammed into this is amazing. Awesome as always!! Sorry for my over-long rambling.
This got a Daily Deviation?! CONGLATURATION!! That's amazing!! This definitely deserved it!
