The Road goes ever on and on Down from the door where it began. Now far ahead the Road has gone, And I must follow, if I can, Pursuing it with eager feet, Until it joins some larger way Where many paths and errands meet. And whither then? I cannot say. ~J.R.R. Tolkien
Nothing better than drawing snow and mist. Yes, I still wanna play Skyrim again.
Skyrim belongs to Bethesda Art belongs to ^ValaSedai
A desolate snowy mountain road, it all reaches to me, I have a thing for these three, and more when they are all togheter. First time I encountered a scenery like this is Skyrim I could imagine myself, merging in that place, in that scenery. The tranquility, the silence, the cold fresh mountain air with a scent of the sorrounding trees, and the fox spotting me from some lenght away. The snow falling all around this white piece of heaven for me.
Trully a beautiful and calm place, untill you meet an ice troll, a saber or a bear.
The last game that gave such an experience was an online game named Cabal, even made some screenshots. [link] [link]
Now that I look back at my old art I find some descriptions a bit not so of what I would choose now maybe, or I was just younger and the fire of youth and reklesness made me then more ''straight to the point of expressing myself''. Anyway, a bit of embarasment is what I felt, and still feel when sometimes I look back at my art and descriptions.
Oh man this brings back so many memories.Skyrim is such an epic adventure because of the winter landscape.I dont think such a game can possibly be made again.Well, only bethesda can. You did a fantastic job.The atmosphere is really fantastic.
